Do not go here if you're looking for ambience. But if you want to be swept away to a little restaurant in the middle of Mexico this is a place to do it. The food is extremely authentic, and mostly street food size. We had beef tacos in a flour tortilla, chicken tacos in a flour tortillas, and tamales. They also served two sauces we opted for the milder of the two, which was not hot at all and was delicious. The people who operated it were so friendly as everyone here has already reported. The clientele was obviously local Mexicans and we were the only Anglos in the place. They spoke English well enough to work out what we were ordering. The location of the restaurant is actually not on the street but in a small building behind the Pentecostal church in front of it. It's a little difficult to find. But, eating there is worth the trip.

I accidentally stumbled on this place as I was literally lost on Old 41, I saw the sign and knew I had to go in. I am Mexican and always try Mexican bread to see who's is best. I brought a couple home for the fam and can honestly say this is some of the best Mexican bread I've found. Service was so sweet and helpful, and food was phenomenal.

The address on Yelp is incorrect. It is 26909 Old 41 Road in Bonita Springs. We were recently visiting in California and my husband was jonesing for conchas, a slightly sweet Mexican bread pastry. We drove all the way to this place from Cape Coral (if anyone knows of conchas for sale in Cape Coral, let me know). We couldn't resist trying the tacos and got the barbecue taco. It had fresh cilantro, sweet onions, lots of tender beef, a lime wedge, and a small container of some pretty serious hot sauce. The conchas are fresh baked and perfect. If you've never had a concha, think of it as a less sweet version of a donut, although these are baked, not fried. We immediately regretted not getting more tacos. We will be back. Service is friendly and helpful. My Español is not so good, but these people were very kind.
